Dr. Laurie A. Kitson
is a general dentist providing comprehensive dental care for adults and children. Dr. Kitson has worked in the dental field since 1984. For twelve years she practiced as a dental hygienist in Western New York State and Northeast Florida. In 2000 Dr. Kitson joined our practice after obtaining her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She is married to David G. Bowers, Jr.
Dr. Brian T. Young
graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed his specialty training in periodontics and implant dentistry at the University of Florida, and he completed a Master of Science degree at the University of Florida. Dr. Andrew L. Skigen
graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1995 and then received his certificate in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery in 2000. Soon after, Dr. Skigen started his private practice in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Skigen enjoys spending time with his wife Cindy and his two sons Jackson and Alexander. Dr. George R. Van Etta
Dr. Van Etta is a general dentist providing comprehensive dental care for adults and children. Dr. Van Etta received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida, College of Dentistry in 1993. Dr. Van Etta joined Dr. Owens in 1995 following a dental practice on the campus of Florida State for two years. Dr. Van Etta is married to Ashlee Van Etta. He has three sons Austin, Carson, and Brady.
Dr. Ken Owens
is a general dentist offering comprehensive dental care for adults with a focus on cosmetic and complex restorative treatment. Dr. Owens received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1969. He has practiced in Fernandina Beach since 1971. Dr. Owens and his wife, Shirley, have two children, Scott and Kelly.
Dr. Christopher M. Geric
earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2001. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Navy as a Dental Officer. Following his honorable discharge, Dr. Geric returned to Florida and completed his residency in Endodontics at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Geric maintains a private practice in Jacksonville, providing all aspects of microscopic surgical and non-surgical root canal therapy. He and his wife, Dr. Jennifer Geric, have two daughters and reside in Ponte Vedra Beach. For more information, please visit

Dr. Josh O. Bietenholz
Dr. Bietenholz is a general dentist providing comprehensive dental care for adults and children. He has special interests in cosmetic and implant dentistry. He recieved his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida in 2006. He is married to Dr. Katie Bietenholz who is an anesthesiologist at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Bietenholz has two sons, Owen and Zachary.
